We tried to plug another 4 plug ECU in...mine...but it didn't start at all..

How does that work, putting the computer in diagnostic mode???

The engine won't start..fault code 11, crank angle sensor.
I've checked the wiring and seems to be ok.
Has anyone a idea of what could cause the problem??

Is it possible to send a photo of the diagram from the ecu with the lines where all the wires go!??

Hi Guys, I've got the manuals which discribes the 4 plug Ecu, but I boughy a EA82T engine with 3 plugs into the Ecu.
I'can't find the electrical diagram (rcu pin-out) for this type.
Could anyone he;p me please??

I will try to explain the title of this topic. I have a EA82 engine in my bug. I have an adapterplate between the engine and the gearbox of the VW. Are there more engines that I can mount into the bug without changing the adapterplate? I know that VW has lots of different engines that fits onto the ...

The bug has tipped 200 km with a 'short' gearbox. Now i have a gearbox fitted with a long 4. Also on board is a managementsystem from microdynamics wich adds a lot more horsepower. I think the topspeed of the Bug should be no higher than 220 km an hour. The body of the Bug is not that aerodynamic!!!...
