Sealed C3 clearance are the OE spec for most wheelbearings, If it was a track car then maybe you would try the metal shielded ones with the right grease as they have a higher speed rating than the 2RS rubber sealed ones. Usually what causes failure is water getting in past the seals and it happens t...

Brumby and MY radiators have a big advantage they are copper and repairable unlike some of the later rubbish with plastic tanks that deteriorate and you have no option but replace the whole thing new. yes in theory Alloy radiators with plastic tanks may cool better but they are fragile and not likel...

Nice work on the Gearbox Mods El Freddo possibly the only thing I would consider doing differently is not to use copper pipe for the oiul squirters as sooner or later it will vibration fracture because it is not supported. The material spec I would use to make those Oil squirter tubes from would be ...

Plenty of Idiots especially ones towing Big Boats even behind full Size 4WD's, The Laws are there for a reason when it comes to Towing. Here in NSW back in the early 1990's all of a sudden the rules changed and people were getting booked towing Rally Cars behind Holden and Falcon Utes, Suddenly yhe ...

They seem to make a nice EA81 Upgrade head with a claimed and likely 20% more power and that would increase with the right carburetion and exhaust system.

First thing I bought when I got the Brumby was a new Genuine cable I seem to remember it was high 40's at the time money well spent and the original went in behind the passenger seat as a spare, I recommend this as standard practice when you buy any New Old vehicle with a cable clutch, I also replac...

Borrow a tail shaft, even though you replaced the Uni's I guarantee that will be the problem, what you are experiencing I would bet comes from the front uni joint on the tail shaft. Do not forget when converted to RWD the tail shaft now does ALL the Work unlike previously when it was either along fo...

In a word no, Adjustable spring platforms on the front struts and Torsion bars at thye back that can be adjusted up or down. But one mod for brumbies is to retrofit L series rear struts that then adds coil over struts to a Brumby but not the other way. Plenty of lift kits ans spring changes though f...

Good that it went to keeping another Subaru on the road rather than Sims metal and the crusher, Way too much good gear has been lost that way, witness how many classic Aussie mag Wheels have become poison cost wise because they melted them down for scrap, Price a set of Torana Globe Sprintmasters to...
