Sell 89 Summerwagon 2"lift 14" wheels
Gday, I am parting with my car. I would like to sell it whole so that I do not have to get the scrap metal guy to come around. However I am willing to consider parting it out. I have given this car a fair run off road and it shows. It is currently rego'ed and drivable. but I dont think that it is ve...

EA82 to E82MPFI Question
Gday, I would like to know how much stuffing around is involved in swapping out my current ea82 with an ea82mpfi engine. Will it bolt straight on to my existing gear box and engine mounts? what has to be done with the electrics? Is it a legal modification in vic or do i need an engineers cert? Cheer...

Thanks Guys, I have now got the ring nut off! I used a combo of methods. First i used a large drift to get it moving. then i used a folded steel bracket that i had laying around. I filed it down to size and griped it with 450mm shifter. http://i612.photobucket.com/albums/tt206/s3113225/P8010857.jpg ...

Yeah I have seen the tool that Elfreddo made. It is exactly what i need but i dont have the fabrications tools required ( welder, grinder or materials). I will try the punch and BFH method. I have read that a few have done it like this and have all but destroyed the ring nut. i would rather not wrec...

Matt are you confused? surely the lock ring is threaded and needs to be reused? Yes, the ring nut is threaded and needs to be reused. Another way to remove the bearing is to put it in a vice and put one of the bearings back into the outer and bash it with BFH. As you replace it anyway so it doesn't...

L series Rear wheel bearing replacement Gday, I have come to the conclusion that my RH rear wheel bearing needs replacement. I have managed to follow the workshop manual so far. I have the trailing arm off and secure in the vice. The bit i am stuck on is removing the 'hub ring nut'. The manual says ...

It is intermittent. it will occur when the engine is at any temp, under heavy load or idling. but there seams to be no hard and fast rule as to when it will make heaps of noise... sometimes it will purr along and others ...
