i turns out it was not the compressor but the bearings in the tensioner pulley for the AC shattered and sezied up. and you cannot remove the compressor as it supports the alternator brackets

Urgent- aircon removal

The aircon compressor in my 86 carby ea82 leone just shit itself. i whant to remove it (cheapest option). is it possible to do with out interfering with the motor? do i need a smaller alternator belt if so what one?

What is the price for a new clutch? also i need to replace the cv joints what are they worth as well??

Final questions for a 2wd to 4x4 conversion

I have heard that the clutch and the front drive shafts in a 4x4 are different to the 2wd version. is that true? also any tips/tricks with the conversion that any one knows about? when done i will hopefully do a write up to help others.

i had a thought ( yes it hurt and may be considered dangerous) can the front rotors be modified to fit on the rear axles?? easily/ simple modification!!

aspro - it is in reasonable conditon, some small dings, chips and rust but all up i would use if i needed it. will take off and put it aside for you
