Its definitely the head gasket that is leaking. Its making me think there might be a slight buckle in the head. Both surfaces were spotless when I put the new gasket in but still coming from the bottom rear corner. It doesn't seem to leak much oil however there is plenty of oil on the under side of ...

Oil leak from head gasket on EA82

I've got an oil leak from the head gasket on an EA82. I've changed the gasket but it's still leaking.

Does anybodyhave any suggestionson what can be done next?

mmm.. thats a good point. I only have to do the right hand side and that is torqued in an anti-clockwise direction and I recall the torque wrench instructions saying only to use it in a clockwise direction.

Thanks for the tip - may have to nip to a wreckers and try a bit of guess work

Tensioning timing belt on EA82

The manual states that a 'camshaft sprocket torque wrench adaptor' is required to apply the correct tension to the timing belts when replacing them however these are rarer than hens teeth to get hold of. Does anybody have any clever tips on how to apply the correct tension without one of these tools...

How is the exhaust affected by fitting a 2" lift to an L Series - does it need to be moved or bits added?
