Well, after 4+ years of driving this old girl around and clocking up more Km's of off road driving than most 4 wheel drives (including my own 4x4 hilux), I sold her today. Pretty sad to see it go, but the new owner has another one in his yard that he is going to use for parts, and he seemed happy to...

i think the sand you are driving on makes a bit of a difference too. one of my mates had no trouble driving around lancelin dunes (north of perth) but when we were in coral bay he got stuck a few times. just from normal driving on flat sand. i would agree with dropping tyre pressures to around 10-14...

i guess you could plumb a reservior it into the heater hose, then use a blocking cap on the radiator (like the ones found on nissan patrol radiators) and use the little overflow tube on the filler neck of the radiator as an air bleed. run a hose from the air bleed on the radiator filler neck back to...

Yes he has showed detailed information, If you cannot get the bearing out, you might need to use the press to push it out... When you reinstall the bearing, never hit it with the hummer in the centre part of the bearings, always hit it on the outside (rim) of the bearing because you will damage the...

that blue brumby with the ladder bar rear suspension looks damn tough. if you want to protect the outer CV boots you could cut some steel tube in half and weld it to the trailing arm, in front of the CV joint to stop things flying up and hitting it. this is just an idea as im not near my car right n...

thats not bad at all but if you go mad and drive through a creek isn't it just going to shovel water into the engine? yes I know that it is ultra dry up there at the moment but that can change in the blink of an eye TOONGA yeah i thought about that, thats why im doing it to the air filter housing t...

and today i was looking for something to do, so i decided to make an "over the radiator" air intake. i know water will be forced in there when i go through water crossings, and i need to cut it a bit shorter and put some rubber between the air filter housing and intake plate. that way the engine can...

is that lift kit a 2inch or a 3inch? i wanted to put a lift in my car and leave the 13inch rims on. but after seeing ur brumby with the 13's on, it looks a little bit weird (the tyres dont fill the guards) so i might give it a miss untill i can get bigger wheels and tyres. nice score on the lift kit...

i would sort of go with what most people are saying and get a good quality pair of 6.5" splits, a small sub to go behind the seats and a 4channel amp to power the splits and bridge the other 2 channels for the sub if you can ( http://www.jaycar.com.au/productView.asp?ID=AA0426&CATID=24&form=CAT&SUBC...
