M3TA4, be very careful, those hard drive magnets could probably pull a conrod right out the side of the block. You'd be better off wearing them as earrings. Yeah I thought they would pull something out of line. lol I'm not goona wear these as earrings if a truck drives past il end up sticking to it...

okay, just pulled the hard drive apart. I'm a bit scared of trying this as the magnets are really powerful. So before trying i must ask, With powerful magnets near your engine and carburetor would it pull some of the pin/screws etc, out of line.? and you would you think it would interfer with the el...

done some research and it seems Neodymium magnet( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neodymium_magnet ) is found in alot of things even your hard drive. yeah its mainly for them hills and petrol use. cant wait for the oil temp and pressure gauges and the tri pod pillar.

it totally worked. and now its running. ill send pix of the install gauge a bit later. Its just a lil dodgey as i put it on the steering colum. Ill be moving it to the pillar once i get a pillar pod set-up.
