You might be better off just getting an ej22 in it because the ea81 is hard to tune and cant really put out more then 125 HP without realiability issues

I've seen on highly modified axles on Subaru but I don't understand why you would do that, the setup what subaru has now is better than solid axle.. Thats my opinion. Cheers AP The main reason I want it is because im always running over rocks and ripping my CV boots. Is there like a stronger coveri...

Solid axel conversion for brumby

Does anyone know if there is such thing as a solid axel conversion for a subaru brumby. I know its probably a little far fetched but I was curious if anyone had ever heard of one before.

Only in a Subaru

This is at the tough truck competition in Clarkston Washington US. Not to many things will do that without breaking something.

It probably wouldnt cost more then around $1200 if I pulled out the engine and tranny from an impreza or something like that from the junk yard. It would be interesting to have an AWD system in the buggy. I wonder how it would work for mudding.

I have been wanting to eventually upgrade engines. Can you drop say a 2.2 turbo into it without changing the stock tranny?

best 1.8 turbo for the money?

I am looking to get a turbo for my brumby buggy with the 1.8 liter. Does anybody know what the best kind would be within a budget of preferebly under $300? Also what kind of difference is it and is this the best part for the price. Im open to any other cheap mods I just like increasing horsepower LOL
