I paid $300 to have someone strip down a harness, came with tags on the wires and notes telling which wire to connect to what. Doing it this way was as easy as installing a stereo. My only issue has been that i havn't got a speed sensor, can drive the car around the suburbs for weeks with no issue, ...

Seriously you had to wait 3 weeks for the King Springs? I have been told 2 weeks ago they are in stock for Gen 3. So far I have enjoyed my auto, but how do you tell if you have a "VTD rear end"? yep agree they are the yeagerup dunes, been there three times and had a great time!

Not sure if there is any logic to the following, just noted your comment on checking the battery levels. over 20 years ago I stupidly topped up a battery to the brim, no air space at all and had a similar but much worse power loss. Dave, Once when I replaced a front shaft I removed what I think is called the drive plate?.....the bit with the splines in it to recieve the shaft..... I just tightened the bolts up as tight as i could when i put it back together and that wheel would get the shudders and do strange knocking things a...

after installing the boots, I don't recommend leaving the shaft siting in the sun on a hot day while you have lunch before insatlling back in the car.......Had a heap of trouble getting one back in, I believe the temp difference between shaft and hub and the expansion of the shaft made the tollerenc...
