Thanks Dave, I read the manual and should get a chance on the weekend to test the relays and find where the problem is.

interesting that you re-wired with normal relays.....if mine got frazzled I might look at doing similar......but not as fancy as your little black box!

rear suspension silly idea?

Has anyone ever considered or looked at the feasibility of installing the complete rear suspension, crossmember and diff etc from a liberty or forester to an L series? Could body mounts be added to the L series to allow this to be done? Or introduce a new custom made crossmember bolting to existing ...

BYB-01's price is a good deal...i paid more than double that for a stripped and tagged harness from elswhere in QLD. It was an easy way to go, mine came with instructions as well....anyone who could wire up driving lights or a stereo (not that i have done either of those!) would be able to do it! Af...

EJ22 adapter plate and 4X4 selector?

I have used a 16mm aluminium plate for EJ to EA gearbox which I believe may be 4mm thicker than the 12mm difference between EJ and EA bellhousings? Any way...I find that on heavy acceleration the 4X4 lights on the dash come on and then go off...then today when hitting a large speedhump to test new s...

It is a great location, I have done it twice in a lift L, not sure I would attempt it in an unlifted vehicle. Last time was a longweekend about 3-4 years ago and the hardest section was gettin back up the hill at Jasper beach, big holes and lumps on a short steep section, there is a good runup thoug...
