AndrewT, Can you let us know where you had the radiator done? Spoke to a shop about somthing like that and they just looked at me funny and said it couldn't be done (more like couldn't be bothered!) currently running the original L radiator with an EJ22 and installed an adaptor in the radiator hose ...

Love it! No more issues with 14 inch wheels effecting takeoff, drives better than the old EA82 with 13 inch rims. So much quieter...no ticking of lifters or sucking of weber. Coventrys sell Standard King Springs for $138 a pair for both front and back.......didn't have a listing for "Heavy Duty"? Recently put an EJ22 in my L series.....there is a wire from the computer that is fo a Tacho, will this be suitable to run any off the shelf tacho? I assume it is just sending some sort of pulse signal ?

It goes so much better than the webbered EA82, think I am going to be happy for a while longer....then again she needs new shocks all four corners and new set of rubber as only has road tyres at moment. this is the vehicle a few years back, one photo at Lucky Bay Esperence WA and the other the Yeger...

EJ22 conversion finally on the road...still have a few things to fix up but she is drivable. The chipped valve in the head has been replaced with a $20 one from the wrecker. I am sure you have realised you need to include an earth wire connection for the water temp sender....I learnt the hard way when I insatlled my temp sender half way along the radiator pipe and didn't think about earthing! I would be interested in your product...at this stage I have inserted 3 inches...

Stupid Idea?
I am also considering this option in future but not too keen on having to completely remove the axle........particularly middle of winter at the end of a muddy trip!. fan shroud
when i bought my lifted L which had been done "professionally" the front fan was caught up in the metal shroud and was jamed, the previous owner hadn't realised........simply remove the shroud.
