stay wit efi it will work better and be more reliable i have one in a brumby that has a 6 inch lift wit a heap of other mods for sale if ur intrested it has 15 inch rims and 235 70 15 tyres

sounds almost like valve timing is out by 1 tooth posible ive seen it befor in a subaru

all dohc subaru mottors bend valves if it has had the engine turned over if u put a belt on it wit plugs in turn the engine over by hand and count the compresions if there is four its fine if not its diked i have a brumby wit a ra quick steer rack in it but mine has a liberty subframe front and rear...
