ea82t radiator hose

When I fitted the ea82t to my brumby 9 months ago I used an old cortina rad hose for the bottom hose. It didnt fit quite right but worked ok, until last night when it split slightly. I was wondering what everybody else used. I am using the original brumby radiator. For the moment I have used two 90 ...

try checking the altinator voltage, My 82t converted brumby had suffered the same symptoms. Turned out the voltage was dropping off at revs. It felt like it was starving from fuel under load, and acted like a vacum leak at idle. Unfortunately it failed while at peake. Made for an interesting trip ho...

water injection for ea82t in brumby

I would like to make and fit a simple water injection system to my ea82t powered brumby. I had an intercooler set up on my old rx, but i would like to use water injection on my brumby to keep the instillation as stealth as possible. Any ideas on the best way to set this up would be very helpful.

I just fitted an ea82t into my brumby about 5 weeks ago. The brumby is the same as an MY. Conversion is not too hard ,I started it on the friday night after work. Took about an hour and half to remove engine and crossmember. I prefabricated a replacement crossmember before hand. You need to put in a...

Thanks guys, for the info. I now think it is more to do with the air flow meter, as I have substituted the one off of my RX and it seams to get a bit better. its not really that big a problem gets ok fuel consumption, just annoying. trying to get it engineered so it needs to pass emissions etc.

Thank you for your replies. the problem was with the control arms being spaced out too far. have fixed this and adjusted the camber by modding the offset of the strut spacers.

ea82t speed sensor

I have fitted an ea82t into my brumby, I was wondering if not using the speed sensor in the dash would cause any problems other than giving a fault code?

Drive shaft lenghts

what is the difference in length between an L and my front driveshafts? I am having problems with my brumby breaking/pulling apart the DOJ on the diff end of the shaft. This started when I fitted slightly longer adjustable caster rods. I have also moved the control arm mounting hole out 12mm to fix ...

surging problem in ea82t

Just finished fitting an ea82t into my brumby. I am having a problem with it surging at about 50 - 60 Kph, above that or on boost it drives fine. But just cruising along it shudders and is very unresponsive if driven fairly gently. If I am fairly heafty with my right boot it rips along, but thats no...
