I've got an L-Series Wagon...not sure I would trust the old ones to be re-gassed. Does anyone know of any non-Subaru struts that would fit? There are some Ford ones on e-bay for $30 a pair???

Well, before taking her to get looked at I decided to take your advice and check that all the nuts were tight. The wheel nuts were fine but the left hub nut was loose. Thanks for your advice. It sure sounds like it could be one of many different things so I will take it to a suspension place and get their opinion and a quote. Does anyone know of a good place to take it to in Perth?

Knocking from Front of L Series Wagon

My '85 L Series touring wagon has a knocking noise coming from the front and I don't know what it is. This knocking can be felt through the floor of the car. Thanks for your explanation El Freddo. We fixed the heater (the cable had come off). We'll get on to the vacuum hose when we have time to pull the dash out. Thanks for the offer RSR555 - would be grateful for another set of hands when we get to it!

L-Series Touring Wagon Heater

I have discovered a hissing noise when the air re-circulation switch is off. I'm guessing it's a vacuum leak? Also, the heater doesn't seem to work. I suspect this is the valve which allows the hot water into the heater core is stuck but I don't know where this valve is? Any help would be appreciate...
