Rust.. Other than that they just keep on going. For that sort of budget you should get a very nice one. Just remember to search around and not buy the first one you see unless it is exceptional. Suprisingly the more you look around the more you seem to find. I have seen one in good condition here in...

Does anyone know what brumbyrunner ended up using for his front suspension? Or have any good suggestions for something with a fair bit of travel. I am not interested in registering the brumby so doesnt have to comply to any legislations. Purely for rallying. Which is pretty big here in Mildura.

Subaru glass... Whats it worth?

Hey people, I picked up this glass piece pretty cheap a few years back. It is 10mm thick glass textured on one side smooth on the other, with the Subaru logo in the middle. 300mm wide and 1400mm long. I also have the metal spacers to either fix it as a bar top or mount it on the wall as it has four ...

The note probably said "To the person that I just crashed into, I am being watched so I am writing this note so that they think I am leaving my number." My rallye edition liberty got hit whilst parked. A witness left a note but didnt give me any details just said a red car hit you. Not much help, bu...

Good stuff, however if they look at your wheels you may get a red sticker instead..

The scratchings so far - Countless rabbits 6 pigeons 3 roos 1 goat 1 duck And a Brahman bull. And the only one that put a dent in the car was the Duck! Flew in between the spotties and top bar of the bullbar and hit the bonnet. The missus also hit a roo last week in the hilux. No damage though. I th...

Not a great deal. Have three other radios to listen to, (not including the stereo) so only if bored or after something or someone in particular.. Mate I also apologise about the wheels. I still have them just havent been able to get down to Melb. If you still need them, and can wait, they are still ...

Out our way some of them do go to 39 if they dont want us (police) listening to what they are saying as we have them fitted to our patrol cars down here. All the main talk is on 40 though.

Brumby side mirrors

Am doing a few things to the brumby. Has anyone ever tried a new type of side mirror, is there one that fits without too many mods that looks better? Also do the torana plastic flares fit or look any good fitted to a brumby? Suggestions for any other changes?

I had the same problem in my 89 brumby with 3inch lift. I removed the gear lever and cut the kink out to move the main shaft to the left (but kept the same angle) as it hits on the 4wd selector bar. Basically means it is now straight but I should have moved it slightly to the left as it still hits b...

Send us a pic and I will ask him. This one he just drew on a scrap bit of paper whilst talking on the phone. He drew a good one of my rally car ages ago. Very talented. Used to make a bit of money doing the cartoons for a truck magazine. We are trying to think of a graphic to put on the brumby, but ...

Thanks Chris that would be great. I am still working out how exactly I am going to set it up yet and am open to all suggestions. I have a stereo and speakers from the wagon and its going into the brumby so may be a little different. I also have an ipod connection to set up as well.

I was actually considering this. Have a brumby and a donor touring wagon with aftermarket turbo ea82. Was thinking of pulling the turbo off and doing something similar.. Not sure if it would work or be any good though..
