Can you use the tacho/ speedo unit from a fuel injected EA82 L series
and stick it in a Carbie EA82 L Series without too much stuffing around?

Is the gearbox/ drive shaft similar for a fuel injected 89 L series the same as for a 1990 standard carbie L series.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Noisy lifters

Sorry to jump in on your thread. I am one step behind you my EA82 motor.
Both L and R set of lifters went really noisy overnight. I suspect the oil pump first. How do you check the oil pressure with the engine running.

Help would be appreciated
