Havent checked exhaust thoroughly but doesnt appear to have holes in it. how would you check for a blocked cat? I know one way of checking the ca...

Sounds interesting, there are times on the above link and are for each state.
I also read if theres enough dust in the atmosphere the moon should appear blood red.

Id replace the thermostat, if the needle moves the temp sender is probably working but your thermostat is stuck open, It takes forever to warm up when they stick open. I had to replace mine, cost under $15 from memory and was fairly easy, It would have been even easier if I had a scraper/razor blade...

Bush mechanics was a great show, i remember seeing them fix a gearbox that had snapped off it mounts, They got a branch and put holes in the floor near the doors and tied brach across the car and underneath the gb. I think they used fencing wire to hold it. Another was using the windscreen washer pu...

Check around the windscreen for rust, I think it's a pretty common place for it. Other than that check the usual places: storage box in the rear, bottoms of quarter panels and doors, firewall, tailgate etc. For that price is should be in very good condition, id get a mechanic to inspect it to make s...

There are other liftkits around, this forum is kindly provided by a manufacturer of kits and accessories for subarus. I think an l series with injection is a good idea, i personally prefer the look of the "my" but the motor (injection) and gearbox(5 speed) makes the L a better buy. Cv arnt that much...
