Hi, Thanks for the reply! It's a Gen 2 1995 Liberty FWD LX Auto Wagon, It has the speed sensor in the front of the gearbox with 2 wires and 3 wires at the back of the speedo, it has no mechanical cable that runs to the back of the speedo, they are all electrical connections. I checked the connection...

ok, got the dash out, definitely no cable running to the speedo, it's the 3 wire connection... I think we may be lost in translation...

the rear speed sensor is on the very rear of the gearbox. its black and has a 10mm head bolt holiding it in. I will have a spare at home if you need one. Hey Raven thanks for your reply i didn't think it would have an immobilizer.

Also just wondering what sort of bulb connector is used behind the speedo i want to replace them with blue leds

I just got a liberty from eBay but it didn't come with the original Subaru key and im not sure if it has an immobilizer or not, do Subaru come with a factory immobilizer?

If it does can i completely disable it as i have a immobilizer i would like to install.
