Hey all, I brought this auto liberty with a bad seal in the gearbox so fixed that and now I can't get the gear selector cable to to reach the linkage when its in neutral on the shift and neutral on the linkage the cable shoots past it by about 1 cm I have used the adjustor's on the end of the cable ...

So here's the deal , Ive bought a 1990 liberty gx constant 4wd for $300 & a ej25 dohc for $200 (with a blown headgasket) out of a 97 liberty.Throwing up some idea's on what would be the best combination. Considering sticking in the ej25 block with the ej22 sohc heads & runnning the 22 inlet manifold...
