Paddock bashers, you say? When I was about 10 or 11 I remember myself and the old fella chopping up an EA wagon and making it a ute for rednecking purposes. Grass-fires? No problem! Bent up a pipe and had the exhaust coming out the top (no bonnet). And after some serious learner driving and thrashin...

'82 MY wagon, 247,098, all original stuff, goes like a zyrtec! '99 Toyota Vienta Grande, 351,871, re-built and worked engine at around 275,000, current daily. '96 Hilux 2.8D, 324,500 (roughly) original everything, but the clutch has seen better days. '90 Brumby (mates car) around 480,000, all origin...

Well, mum's car  is an '09 Outback Turbo Diesel. This is really the only new-ish Subaru I can offer thoughts on. As a car, it is a solid machine. I used to drive it a fair bit before I got an apprenticeship (and got the MY wagon fired up) and moved out, and still do drive it when I visit t...

Wow, I like it. Only a baby when it comes to R/C (still on my HSP thrashbox) what scale would that be? Also, if I may pick your brains further, did the body need to be sourced from overseas or do you think I might find one in AUS?

Again, it's good for me to know I'm in the right and know the rules, by not being stupid. My reasoning is, do no wrong, pay no price, but once again I have a P-for-pull-over plate and ride a bike most places. Easy Prey (they think). An example (true tale). You know the signs before corners wi...

I once got a speeding ticket in the mail. It was from Sydney and was a month old. I haven't even been to Sydney for years. Turns out that human error was to blame, and they missed a number off the plate of the car caught on camera, and that was the same rego as my motorcycle. Fought it, no worries. ...

I totally agree Venom, and thanks for the timely reply. But, I, as an 18 y/o, apprentice and P-plater, it isn't practical in any way to keep it and fork out for a place to park it safely. And I already have an am driving the other one. A 1999 Toyota Vienta Grande, V6. AKA the "Limo".

(Wrong forum?) EOI - What's my wagon worth?

G'day all. As above, I am not 100% sure where this should go, feel free to correct me. So due to lifestyle changes, the Scoobie might have to go to make way for a better and more sensible vehicle. It's not on the market as yet, but I'd like to know what it is worth. I rarely see wagons for sale, but...

It's no issue for the seal to come out as well. Even if it gets trashed. A new glass AND seal are going in.

This sounds like it could turn nasty. I reckon next weekend we'll give the heat gun a go. I'll be sure to post back.

Cheers, Mick.

Haha, yes Gannon, that option has been considered. But, glass hurts, and stupid hurts. I would say the condition of the existing seal is fair, given that it is beginning to craze/split on the outside, but is still in one piece, and there is not a leak to be nor has it ever leaked. I might make a gue...

'82 MY wagon windscreen removal/tips

Hi all. Been a bit slack lately, but I need to remove the widscreen of my wagon for a roadworthy (new) replacement. There is the common rust in the lower passenger-side corner, and while the beast is off the road (read; unregistered) I thought I should tackle this problem while the old windscreen is...
