I don't know if this is what you want but you can work out roughly how many kph's with different rev's/gear ratio's/tyres/diffs. It wont be real accurate because of real world conditions but should be close I think. Engine rev's / gearbox ratio / diff ratio x tyre circumference (in metres) x 60 minu...

Cleaning Engine Components
Hi, I wanted to know if someone could tell me what solutions the "Pro's" use to clean heads and radiator cores before they rebuild them. I sent a truck head away years ago to get worked on and it came back spotless in every nook and cranny. I'm about to do the same to my l series and what to start c...

I think you are being a tad negative, I bought this for a little bit of experimentation and fun. If i wanted something professional, i would have bought a professional one. Sure, I might sound a "tad negative" but you made no indication that it was for fun. I wouldn't use or trust the setup as you ...

I think if you ask around you should find one. Might need to T join it with the factory sensor or drill and solder the sensor to ...

What you are doing will never give you an accurate reading. The probe is useless. Although you could use it to measure the temp of a roast chook. To accurately measure the water/oil/gearbox, or any other liquid you want to measure, the probe needs to be immersed in the fluid. if you understand ntc's...

with stuffed compression rings don't always burn oil do you, may have good oil rings, stuffed comp rings to get this, gunked up rings. Did you also do wet test by adding oil to pots for next comp test? Not best result with boxer engine though as oil not seep to sides and seal.... No I didn't bother...

EA82 Low Compression
hi
my 1800cc motor compression measures 30/35/60/150 psi.
It's not burning oil so I am assuming a top end problem.
can the heads be removed without removing the motor?
thanks
