Sorry Spike, prefer Subaru parts for this mod.

I prefere to use the genuine Subaru parts for this job, i like to have the feeling that all parts should bolt on,connect and operate as per factory set up.

See Captain Obvious post with pic of the Forester. I think it has the puddle lights installed.

I would assume that the lights would only come on upon unlocking the doors and then switch of once you start the car and drive off.

I have just discovered that the car does have lights in the base of the front doors, but are not the same as the lights that are attached to the underside of the car (Puddle lights). The lights are available as an option here in SA as they appear in the accessories brochure? This is the link to the ...

Hi all Just picked up our new 2.5 Prem. Outback. Sat Nav, roof racks. I have been toying with the idea to purchase some puddle lights from the U.S. and install myself.
