Does anyone know of any links or have any advice on how to install the timing belt into a ej22 motor,we installed a new timing belt in my ej22 and it's now running rough so thinking it must have slipped on a pulley on installation ,is there any way of checking if it's incorrectly fitted without pull...

What gearbox is best 4 ej brumby

How are you? The motor ideas in the previous thread about putting the ej22 into my brumby ran into gearbox ideas. I've chosen the L series 5 spd because of dual range and simplicity to install, the L series cv's sleeve straight onto the EA's shaft and as for the rear the diff ratio it would be the sa...

Hi guys
The other reason behind using the 5spd ea box over a liberty box is that I believe converting the cv's and shafts are a nightmare to fit from hubs to gearbox unless anyone know's of a special trick involved without setting a grinder and welder to fit the 2 cv's together.

Leave it stock

Just try and see if you can drill it out at the back to put in some lights to come on with your park & perhaps brake aswell.
