LSeries waterpump, coolant loss help please
Hi all My faithful sportswagon started to make a strange rattle today. I turned the engine off, restarted and it went away.I drove about 7km stopping a couple of times, then just as I got home it started again. I opened the hood and I think the noise is the main fan rubbing against the plastic cover...

more on EA82 tappets. HELP???
Hi all. My sports wagon has the dredded tappet rattle, but this 1 seems a bit strange. It has 347,000 on the clock, but I think the engine might have been out at some time as it uses no water and has no oil leaks. burns no oil. I change the oil and filter 4 times a year. Prob overkill. starts and run...

EA82 Oil pump removal ?
I want to do the seals in the oil pump on my 93 sportswagon to see if this is the cause of the really bad tappet noise. Can anybody please tell me what I need to remove to do it. Do I need to drop the motor? Or remove the radiator? Or is there enough room to just take it out with the motor and radia...

Help L Series running on only 2 cylinders
Hi All my trusty 93 L series is running on 2 cylinders only. The car has 235,000km and is quite well looked after, I change the oil and filter every 3 months, and flush the cooling system twice a year. The carb was fully rebuilt last year so i do not think this is the problem. The auto choke has nev...
