Greetings Subject says it all. I have been looking for one of these rareies for quite a few years to fit my Bash Car. Had a few leads on some but unfortunately they panned out. Reading how Liberty Valance got lucky with his Forester recently and scored both front and rear Subaxtreme Bars. So here go...

Shame I just so happen to have a spare ER27 motor sitting in my garage. A chap by the name of Radon on the Subaru XT List in America did rebuild one and did a great post explaining the rebuilding of them. Complete with pictures and all.

Regarding the ER27 I am currently running one in my 91 VW Kombi as a daily driver. It has been in for over 10 years. The person who first expressed interest in this engine I have a full set of workshop manuals for the XT6 if interested. All in all it is a good motor especially when fitted to the VW....
