does my manual gearbox have to be wired up because the plug from the engine harness an the plug from the gearbox is totally different.

what will happen if its not wired up ?

well i just went and checked it out

and the bottom pole the one with the cup for the ball is definitely to short but the top pole im positive is the right length

any ideas

im gonna try make the MY99 intercooler fit but failing that ill either use the waic or go front mount but done stealth with everything painted black.

and i have got the bung plug for the dump just havent screwed it in yet.

update well i got a nice dump the other day from my uncle as he works at a exhaust shop and got it for next to nothing for me :). looks real nice its a full 3inch stainless steel dump has a bell mouth opening so really happy with it here are some pics. http://i461.photobucket.com/albums/qq333/raaach...

update so today i was aiming to do everything on this list; -put the engine back in -put the cvs in and get the car rolling -put the power steering pump in -change over alternators -put the radiator in -and to trial fit the intercooler as for the intercooler it is a really tight fit as you will see ...

well i put my engine in yesterday with no clutch just too see if it will start, got it all hooked up cranked it over but no spark so then i spent the whole afternoon trying to get a spark but it didnt happen. so today i went to the shop and brought a new ignition relay in it started first shot :) so...

can i use my clutch disk out of my excedy pull type clutch out of the wrx

and put it into the standard lib push type clutch ????
