Heads up

Saw this, thought that someone on here is best placed to give it a new home; Pickles are auctioning this on the 27th of November in Perth: http://www.pickles.com.au/damaged-salvage/item/-/details/CP-10-89--Subaru--Brumby--Utility/1552155063 My guess is someone is going to score a bargain. A nice young enthusiast purchased it. From talking to him I dare say he'll do an intro post in the next few days.

Looks like the Murchison Off-road Adventure Park.

North of Geraldton, about 50km from Kalbarri. Normally pretty tough on cars.

I've got the book, read it.

It's not too bad a read, but not as good as the very similar 'The Streets' or 'The Streets 2'.

If you get stuck and can't find an easily available copy, let me know and we can organise some kind of Australia wide library system...

Guy- Two things, next time at the hospital DON'T let your brother/ cousin do the surgery on your foot! Seriously the photo with the nurse made me do a double take! Secondly, pain is fleeting, glory lasts forever- and chicks dig scars!!! You're not the first person on this forum to angle grind in Chi...

I think you two need to work together on this project and put the whole KRudd/ JGillard thing to bed. It's a bit too Tony Grieg and Bill Lowry, the whole simmering passive aggression where there used to be nothing but pure man love. I mean after all, with your combined skills I'm positive the end re...

Having recently had a very similar issue with a 97 liberty (albeit with an EJ25) I learnt that these cars are incredibly sensitive to earthing dramas. My car would intermittently fail to fire, especially on hot days. It would crank the batty flat, but just no fire. Leave it an hour or two and it wou...

i would stick with the auto! NOOOOOOOOOO! If you have all of the parts available 20 feet from the project car, the tools, the work space and the ability to swap it over to manual- and you don't do it, you sir are all kinds of crazy!! Seriously, I think you'll regret it if you don't convert to manua...

Just bite the bullet and get a C R O S S B R E D gen two lift kit, the quality is awesome and you know it will bolt straight up with zero dramas! I'm super happy I went that way with my 97 liberty wagon. With the kit, outback struts and kings standard height outback springs, I've got enough clearanc...

Watching this episode made me feel very comfortable should I ever need to drive my Subaru through deepest darkest Africa...

I was hoping they might fit a lift kit and offroad tyres, but they complete other 'interesting' modifications instead!

Well worth a watch!!

I think they will, but only sedan to sedan, wagon to wagon. The interior trims are different, as are some of the plugs for the power windows ect so use your door trims and door wiring loom.

The Gen 4 Liberty 3.0l R-B came out with a six speed manual in 2005, both in sedan and wagon. None of the 3.0l Outbacks were ever manual though.
