Ok, so finally an update. The older, more responsible I get the less time I have for hobbies and interests  http://i806.photobucket.com/albums/yy349/mission4wd/CylHead13_zps33d530a3.jpg http://i806.photobucket.com/albums/yy349/mission4wd/CylHead13_zpse78ef0e8.jpg http://i806.photobucket.co...

Drooool :D

Sorry to read bout Leone meeting with guard rail, but in light of it all you've done a fantastic job! The bolt up rad support is a good idea.
One bad turn leads into a good turn

I want your Leone sedan!!

Thanks for your input Bennie. I had only considered changing the master cyl and not the vacuum booster as well for the Lib. Does the booster also need to be changed with the m/cyl?

L/MY brake upgrade

Who with experience on the 5 stud upgrade for L and MY can tell me what brake master cylinder is most appropriate to use. The Grugerys manual I have for Gen 1 Libs specifies that the ABS equipped Libs have a bore of 26.99mm and Non ABS 25.4mm. So what should I go with. There are plenty of aftermarke...

I think in either case old mate is asking a tad to much, good thing he is open to negotiating. I mean $1K for a part time transmission, yes it seems brand new but are the insides like the EA81 block. If it was FT 4WD perhaps...

Nice job SB. What grade of steel you use? Would you be interested in making another, albeit with the improvements you explained. I would be keen to buy :)

I have had so much fun removing these types of sealants/adhesives :???: So: After removing as much build up as you can by mechanical means then use white spirits, lots with plenty of rags. Use gloves cause after a while like any solvent the spirits will mess with your skin, not too mention the fumes...

1. Previous 2 owners must have looked after the car quite well. I'm using a non spill-able type battery these days. No prob with rust there at all:) 2. I regularly operate the heater control to keep things free and pump through the coolant from time too time. Thanks for the reminder though Cliff, al...

Super Pro bush SPF 3005K is the diff pinion to cross member bush which fits my '91 L series. The steel outer bush is removed and binned. Bit of a drama to push the poly one in but lots firmer than the original when finished. +1 This can also be done with the "moustache bar" using same part# as above!

FujiFan, sorry, wasn't trying to have too much of a go at you. I'm not an expert either & only going off my experiences. But, as my experiences of being a moderator on a car forum, saying "generalisations" is bad, and IMHO isn't what forums are about. Ok accepted, thank you. I honestly used to thin...
