Yep, used to do the same when i was in DPI as an enforcement officer. Back then it was more for our own protection rather than evidence against the (offender). It stopped a lot of false accusations of harassment.intimidation and assault. Back then it was legal as long as one of the people being reco...

depends on how far you want to stretch your budget. I have an l series and I had planned on doing all the upgrades .However now that Im starting to do the research Im finding that if you are prepared to do all the work yourself its still a viable option, but if like me and probably need a mechanic, ...

wheels 13s v 14s for towing

posted similar message a few days ago but seems to dissappeared into the never never! anyway I curently run a stock standard l series on 185/75-14s mainly to gain extra height while on the beach. Works most of the time but I have noticed a loss of ability for hard work in low range because of these....

I do agree that proper management will certainly help things but knee jerk reactions will definitely not. It wouldnt be ...

I agree with the last comment Nav lights are a must. They are a must,to be used in any instance of limited visibility. eg rain fog smoke even in the middle of the day. I used to be a boating/fisheries inspector, the amount of poeple ew ran across and sent home FOR THEIR OWN SAFETY AND OTHERS because...

Worked for years in commercial boats with yamaha and my experience is put a battery in the boat and charge it from the outboard motor. spotlights while fishing will flatten the battery very quickly, if not charged up as required. I dont know what the new motors are like but the older ones didnt put ...

To stir the pot even more from what i see up my way is the 14 "pug rims will bolt straight up to a standard 13 L series without any dramas . It is a whole lot easier to have the matching wheel nuts, although it can be done on standard nuts (means ON CAR wheel balancing) A couple of the more mature g...

Take it to someone who is AUTHORIZED AND KNOWS WHAT THEY ARE DOING.
Have heard of guys who tried to alter /change steering wheels for one reason and another and been very seriously hurt when the bag has gone off and rammed their faces etc into very immoveable parts of their cars.

gas is going to taxed in start of 2008. and i suspect that it will be a similar price to petrol;/ diesel. unless you can recoup the cost of installation and wear the loss of space for the tank in a short time, is it worth it??????
