The one in the up pipe, down pipe and mid section. This improved the turbos spool by 500rpm. The car now reaches fu...

The 2.5's are still good mate. Ive had a few over the years.. both auto and manual. The manuals are much more powerful and do on average 100km to a tank more than the autos. The autos are smooth and reliable but really kill the performance of the 2.5. Definately a good upgrade from an L.. ive had 7 ...

~$600 in good condition. Leak and noise free. There was one forsale not long a go for $2000! Not sure if its still there but its want to be new at that price. If you going to the effort of shortening the L rack you may aswell go an EJ rack. Then not need to swap fittings just mod mounts and shorten ...

Have fun! I snapped the oil pump off in the block of my MY wagon tried to remove it due to leaking seals. Wished i had never touched it!
Motor is out and i chiseled out the broken pump. However after that decided spur of the moment to drop a spare ej22 in for now. Half way through that conversion!

GOD, yes the ej20 harness fits perfectly.
I used the ej25 fuel rail. But ej20 one should fit. I had to remove the carbon canister with my manifold swap.
Pvc system shouldnt be an issue.

Use ej20 injectors as its only an ej22. Ej25D manifold.. or ej22. However cant use ej20 injectors on ej22 manifold. Could be worth getting the injectors rebuilt as they may be leaking at this age. Yes manifold will bolt on. Ej20 injectors will fit in ej25 manifold. Use a standard or HD clutch kit to...

Use a later SG gearsrt if you can get hold of one. Or a gen 4 outback box is the same.
SG 05-07
Gen 4 OB 04-08
The outback has a slightly shorter 5th than the SG one by 200rpm at 100kmhr.
