Hi i am looking at getting a forester on a budget so looking at between a 98 and 2001 model.Would like any advice anyone has.It will be an auto.I have heard the earlier models are lacking power but thats about all i have heard.Thanks guys.Will be looking at taking it on a big trip through nt sa also...

hi a pod that is mounted in the space where there was a compartement in the middle of the dash and they are auto gauge, volts, oil temp and water temp.no real instructions but apparently need to find the auxiallary ports so it dosent stuff round with the computer.

Hi just bought a gauge pod to fit in the dash of my impreza and also the gauges wondering if anyone has done this and can tell me how to install it in the dash and also where the wire go through the dash.Any help appreciated Ta

Hi just thought i'd put a reply to my old thread.Well took the impreza to boxer service and they were great.Still didnt find a prob on computer or anything but i feel a lot better having had them look at it.Will definatley be going back for her 200 000 service there.Thanks for the recomendation!

thanks 4 the feedback.Well subaru did them last time and they stuffed everything else they've done so im guna blame them lol.We are doing these ones our self so yeah there a jap set so hope there good anyways thanks again

Hi i was just wondering what the average life span is on hweel bearings?Subaru did my back ones 3 yr ago and they need doing again i have a all whell drive impreza?does this sound bout right?

Ok thanks well i live roughly 4 hrs west of brisbane our nearest subaru service agent is wippels in toowoomba and sorry to say but we have had a few probs with the level of service there.Reluctently we took it back about its current prob which is in another post the tacho goin up and down intermiten...

Hi just wondering if any one round here may know how much a 2000 impreza actually takes in auto transmission fluid.The manual doesnt say my cd manual says 8 L but we changed it and there is no way it takes this much?Anyone have any idea.Thanks

well bacically we stopped taking the car there cause they tried to rip us off and basically we told em to shove it and they quickly realised we new a bit about cars and wat eva.so i don't no if this had anything to do with it,but im not complaining lol.

Well took it to subaru and thay couldnt find anything except the auto trans fluid bit to hot,so advised to change that and see how that goes.Didn't cost anything though have to be a first with subaru.Any way will be changing it and see how things go.

tried the electrical cleaner but no such luck.Now takin it to subaru,boo hoo i so didbt want to take it back there.Get back to you with what prob is and how much 2 fix $$$$$ lol
