Hi mate, that indicator you gave me was the wrong colour hehe, didnt even notice until I got home. I took the bracket off but its about and inch short due to the thread holes on the indicator being broken, so Ill go get a couple of screws longer in length and use a spacer to make up the distance. M...

I LOVE this car,it is 1 of the best looking L Series i have ever seen and proves that an "L" wagon does not have to be ugly or boring.

So tempting to have 1 in my wagon, the 2 turbos that that go on my fairlane would be the perfect size (kkk K04's),1 per throttle body, mmm ,mmm. The thought was there as you can see from the turbos sitting in front of the car on my touring wagon thread.

Cheers, the wheels n tyres came off a Nissan Elgrand, but if i don't end up lifting it the tyres may have to go. I scored some new 185/15 low profiles for the time being. Anyone need some almost new Cooper ATR's in 205/70/15? I want $400 for the rims and tyres,or $200 for just the tyres, bearing in mi...

I really ,really like what you've done to this wagon, it's good to see it went to a good home and everything you've done is an improvement, rather than butcher it.There's probably less GT2's around than RX's so personally i think you should keep it as close to original as you can and keep with the c...

Should go alright now! Be able to pull up in a hurry too,no more '82 dole drums and lack of wheel choice, bet it will suprise a few unsuspecting victims when the lights go green.

When was that? I only talked to them last week and was talking to the head office in Adelaide's sales department. If you can get them cheaper interstate then maybe that would be the place to get them.

I so wish i had that car still, inside mint factory interior, dead straight ,had stock wheels and dash ,rx7 12A and cosmo 5 speed box. Still remember the plates RGM 125, was bright yellow too like Steptoe's wagon.

Last crash repairer i talked to locally quoted me around $6000 and i nearly fell over and if i wanted a color change, under bonnet, inner boot etc ,several thousand more, bear in mind to do it correctly you need to disassemble virtually the whole car.

You can always have a go at it yourself, but like anything experience and practice helps as does having the correct tools to do the job. Maybe get a few quotes, find the current going rate then see if you can find someone on 1 of the forums that does spray jobs on the side.Even try another forum, just ...

Sometimes its cheaper to find another car in the color you prefer,or 1 that has already had the work done on it. I had an R100 done back in the early 90's,the first time by a backyarder that ruined it,painted it in a different color to the door jams underbody etc,and came out all chalky using a low ...

performance wheels

Just had a quote for some wheels for the RX and thought i might as well post up the current prices for Performance alloy wheels,15 x 6 superlites are currently $272 per wheel (gold color is extra usually which was what i was after) and modulars (which kinda look like the old weld racing wheel with t...

Was bored the other day ,so decided to wheel the dusty parts mobile out of the shed.Lately the RX has been getting hot when i've been giving it abit of stick so may have to borrow some bits off of the wagon,eg radiator depending on what is the problem. Thinking of buying some black JDM bolt on flare...

Car is still for sale if anyone is serious,i've withdrawn it a few times off Gumtree because of timewasters, will even deliver interstate personally if the price is right. Price is negotiable if going to a good home and you arent going to paint the gauges white, or cut the car in half to use the fron...

For the same price you could also have my RX! But seriously a good clean sedan would be a nice thing to play with as you don't have to consider corrupting the purity of a geniune RX.

Or if you don't trust yourself drilling the holes accurately, get a engineering place to do it,pretty sure it wouldn't cost that much for a few holes drilled.I don't have a drill press myself so that's what i will be doing if i go down that path,i have an old nissan steel wheel as a template.

Here's the new addition to the family, hopefully will pass a RWC this week and be rego'd before too long. It's an '89 touring wagon without AC , it's an MPFI  and it's auto    But it should do my sister well while she's at uni, and after that if Ruby Scoo's not look...

So many options Bennie that i'm not sure which way to roll with it.For now it has just been a general clean up,the last thing i did was sand the crows feet out of the bonnet and had to laugh when under the top coat of white was a nice shiny red that matches the RX !Bearing in mind it was initially p...
