tyres.

195 50 14/15/16 are all pretty bloody cheap. Look at the new BF Goodrich range of sport T/A as well, good value for money if handling well is your thing. Otherwise, dunlop has a special atm, buy 3 tyres and get the 4th free. Go see your nearest beaurepaires for tyres dealer

so you want to drift a brumby. Best shocks you say? Convert the arse end to wrx and get rid of the torsion bar setup, run 5 stud everything and brakes and get a set of liberty HKS Hyper D coilovers, 700lb springrates.

After you have robbed the bank to do this, we will talk about the front......

blocked

look down the feed line for the washer nozzle, there will be a small fitting in the hose that looks like a joiner. pull it out, unblock it and put it back in the same way u pulled it out. its a drainback valve and they regularly get scummed up.

power loss

look at the fundamentals.

O2 sensors, blocked cat converter, fuel pressure reg, AFM, WIRING HARNESS!!(they go brittle and crack over the years and cause earthing issues), Spark Plugs, Coils, Heads, CAS's, Knock sensors and then you start to get into the ''Hard'' side of it.

Good luck

if you are looking for an alternative, ring Jim Berry at Race Clutch. he will sort you out with a pro clutch that will do EXACTLY what you want, and he is THE ducks nuts when it comes to clutches. He made me a 4700lb clamp on a holden gemini diesel disc, it had as much clamp as a button clutch and w...

best bang for your buck?

Buy a GT-R. id say i spent an easy 30k on motors alone and it still cant hold a candle to a GTR.

If its the EA you must have, then if its an 81, get ahold of kelford cams, chat to them about a cam and go get a webber carb. If its an 82, throw it in the bin and ref. step 1

the squeal is a combination of a few things. one of these things is that you are driving an AWD car with a tall tyre and a reasonable amount of body roll around a tight bend at speed. Can you see where this is going? It was recomended to you that you look for a more street orientated tyre for your d...

Without dabbling too much into the technical side of things, i can shed some light on the REAL LIFE experiences ive had with larger than you would think turbo's and 82t's. The single biggest upgrade you can do if you are looking for supporting mods to make it all work better and in harmony, is an af...

Sooo. i found the limitations on an 82-T. After yet another engine rebuild and tune with new bits i have broken it again, and am nearing divorce at a great rate of knots. EA82-T+Highflowed VF24+forgies+Rods+prepped crank, o'ringed block+big squirters and pump and massive duration cams=Fun. Buuut, al...

How old is the engine!! if its greater than 140k then throw a set of rings in it, its common for a subaru to do heads, then you do the heads up to find the bottom end is not too far off shagged 6 mths down the track. Its pretty cheap for bearings, rigs and gaskets if your handy with a spanner, from ...

I ise hilux bump stops at the drags. requires a 10mm hole to be drilled in the lower arm and a small piece of box section applied to the body of the car(bolt or mig glue lol) bit extreme for your application though lol

If its going into an rx, go get yourself a decent fuel pump, swirl pot and rewire the fuel pump circuit. Use a wrx gearbox and diffs, custom one piece tail-shaft. Use an aftermarket computer (Vi-Pec comes to mind) run a cooler with GOOD PIPING!! from there the rest depends on weather you are offroad...
