Few years back I bought a cheapy from Big W. Was a Pope with a B & S engine. Never had a problem with it. Only thing I didn't really like was that it came with a mesh catcher rather than a solid plastic one. I recall paying around $250 for it so at that price I couldn't complain.

AFAIK the 15 year rule has been replaced with pre 89 rule. Anything built in 89 or later needs to go through RAWS as Paul has said, but only if it is a vehicle not available new here. Basically anything Subaru has to be brought in either cut in half or for race/rally use and you will need a CAMS lic...

Are you aware that a turbo radiator won't bolt straight into a N/A body? The lower radiator support is different on the RS and is recessed down.

Generally autos are worthless. I gave Dane the auto foz box when I sold him the motor from it, and by the looks of it he is taking it to the tip.
I would hazard a guess that if you got $200 you would be doing well...

Cheers for the props Tom... Steptoe, I don't have access to an L or MY to work out if/how to make some work. I had an RS lib parked at my place for an extended period and there was no lack of trying but couldn't get a set to suit it. If someone with an L or MY wants some I'd be happy to take a look ...

Bonnet Struts to suit Forester and WRX/Impreza

I have done a few runs of these gas struts for WRXs in the past as the guys that know me from P-WRX will know. I bought an SG forester and sorted out a kit to suit it shortly afterwards. I can offer the standard height lift and also a vertical lift kit. (Holds bonnet completely vertical). End of las...

Didn't think there was any difference. I used my short shifter with all the linkages from my FWD Impreza on my mates RS and had no problems.

I was lead to believe that they were FWD only but about a year or so back, there was a guy here in Perth that bought a 96 Impreza hatch. It had a EJ16, AWD auto and had manual windows. Everything you would expect from a LX but with AWD. I am thinking it may have been a factory option that nearly nob...

The bumper is unpainted. Came off a 99 N/A that I wrecked. I kept it as the bumper on mine was pushed in on the corner but I got out the heat gun and popped mine out. Pretty sure that the bumper will be the same as yours. PM me a pic if you like and I will compare them. Heres a pic from before I too...

I have a rear bumper here if you are interested.
I saw that ad that you linked to about a month ago. Had a quick thought of doing a conversion on my foz but the moment passed quickly.
