yeh the hose is old, it has that white coating that subaru puts on their coolent pipes. The ej22 has been very well looked after full subaru service history, It is hard to find an oil leak on it, and the only one is just oil vapour below the ps pump. I recon this is a good life from a 15 yo piece of...

ej22s prone to blowing radiator hoses?

I have driven my new to me 1995 Subaru LIberty for 1000km and its blows the top radiator hose. I cought it early when I noticed the temp guage was at 3/4 instead of just under half. Going over to the other side of town to fix it this arvo. I supose this was just unlucky or something more sinister? I...

Yeh this was another one of my questions. What is needed for the swap, Like It looks like the fuel tank gets in the way of prop shaft tunnel. What do you need from a donor car, like do you just need the rear hubs and diff off an awd car or the whole rear end? What years bolts up?

I got a new car

I am now the proud owner of a 1995 liberty fwd wagon. It has 160k km on the clock and with the one owner log book servicing it all the way, I paid $8000 on road from a dealer in toowoomba. Pretty happy with it. Now I know why everybody says to ej the ea's, really nice motor, just got to avoid those ...

Sweet that sounds awesome went down and checked it out/test drove it today, it does have the odd oil leak but other than that and the hail damage seems like a good solid car. One think I noticed when reving it between 1900-2100 rpm you can hear a sound like liquid running thru a pipe, I suppose this...

Buying A 1995 Liberty gen2

I am thinking of buying a gen2 liberty with the 2.2l motor and dual range box with 170k km on it. I have owned a Brumby in the past and loved it, just looking to upgrade, I used to read allot about the 'older generation' of soobs but the only thing I know about 'new gen' is that their motors make a ...

83 wagon clutch cable

Did they make a single range 4x4 in this year?

If this above is correct, would a single range clutch cable be a direct swap for dual range cable?

Using a mosfet with points as trigger for blaster

Basically what i thought of doing is running a mosfet chip with the distributor points as a trigger so the bigger coil wont burn out the points. Well actually I really have the magnetic pickup setup. Would I need the possitive triggering one? These things even up to the job? I did a bit of research ...
