No still have the auto ECM, there was no manual h6 gen 3 outback. It has basically been tricked into thinking it is in neutral so there are no issues with the auto trans controller. But yeah the speedo is not running through the computer it's hard wired into the dash.

Idle hunting and stalling h6

OK so my H6 outback is getting regoed soon. One last problem is that it is hunting a little bit at idle. Also if you disengage the clutch at high revs the motor will die, eg if coming to a stop at lights and you go from third or fourth or whatever to neutral then the motor will stall, however if you...

The only thing stopping me getting this on the road is getting the bloody speedo to work! Anyone have any ideas or know of any good spots to get it fixed?

Cheers bro, Just a 2'' body lift, and get extra inch or so from the tires. As I will be driving it every day I wanted to keep it handling ok, still pretty shit compared to the lib but that's what you get. Should also be adequate for what I will use it for. Can always go more but then loose handling,...

So today I finally got the car going. After having some issues with the Inhibitor switch (or lack of) the car is running. Still needs a bit done for a RWC such as a few touch ups in the exhaust and some power steering issues. The DCCD is not in yet either as I'm having a few problems with the output...

Hey Bennie, It has 37:9 printed on the crown wheel so my calculations say 4.111?

Yeah if you hold the stub and pinion shaft it is really hard to turn and there is a lot of resistance. The the other stub turns in the same direction. It is an lsd without a doubt.

Stoked to have got it for 90 bux ;)

Ok now I'm really quite confused. Pulled a diff out of a WRX at the wreckers. It came out of a WRX so you would assume LSD Both shafts spin in the same direction as you would assume for an LSD Was some slip when holding one wheel and turning the other as you would assume for an LSD. However when I o...

Thanks for the advice man. Will save a big headache. As for the bearings I will keep this in mind.

How many KMS do the Viscous diffs last usually?
