Yep - do believe it has airbag.

Not so sure it is factory for an RX.

Saw one on Gumtree with a Momo.

Nonetheless looks spik. Wouldn't mind one myself.

2000 Impreza with Momo Steering Wheel?

Hi,

Which RX Impreza's came with a Momo tiller?

Was it a special edition and what are they packing any other goodies over & above the boggo RX Impreza?

Love to check on value but I know how subjective that would be.

Cheers.

Mums 99 RX Wagon - 14000 k's on the clock

Hi, The old cheese (all respect to me Mam) has offered her Subie RX wagon for nix. Colour is WRX blue. Condition is mint. Always garaged, serviced religiously and driven (mostly) carefully as a mature driver can. So far as I know everything is original except tyres. Absolutely no rust. I need to get...

Forester Diesel Accessories

I have a Forester on a work deal and am not doing the kays I nominated. As such there is a little kitty of $$$$ I can put into my Forester. I don't want to lift it of fit bars etc, just subtle upgrades such as; - Light upgrades (currently has xenon self levelers) but is one available? - Stereo (but ...

Good Road Tyres for Forester Diesel

Any reccomendations for good road tyres on a Forester Diesel. We've had the car for 13 months now and not gone any further off road than gravel (once) and lawn. I'm most interested in reducing sidewall roll on turn in on the road. Good wet weather perfomance is a bonus, mainly braking, and good road...

Um, no. I go to 7-11 so one would assume it is a 7-11 ice cream. You know, comes from the same machine. That would take care of the first question. Second, one would also assume there is the same motor, gearbox, ignition system (or ingredients, dispenser, franchise) so that would take care of part t...

Battery in Remote Central Locking

Hi,

Is the battery in remote central locking rechargeable?

If so I assume it is recharged when the key is in the lock. Correct?

D'oh.

2010 Diesel. Came with the vehicle.

I didn't realise they have been standard for a while.

Out of interest do Subies generally have an audio system 'a cut above' in the later models? I seem to remember seeing articles extolling the virtues of the standard systems.

Just found out;
-Subaru will be updating the Forester to get a diesel and,
-Only comes with a 6 speed 'box.

Still don't know about the manual resale. Apparently we are lazy drivers but in the UK/Europe manuals are more popular.

Manual Vs Automatic Forester resale values

Can anyone advise on the resale of a manual Forester (mid range spec and not turbo) vs a self stirrer. Personal preference is a manual.

Would be looking to sell on in 3-4 years.

Also, any idea when Subaru will be updating the Forester, will it get a diesel and any plans for a 6 speed 'box.

Cheers.

I didn't really like it but I was really looking forward to seeing it so maybe I was bound to be a bit dissapointed. When they relax a bit it may improve but I can't help but think what makes the UK version good is the availability of rare/boutique cars (Ariel Atom, Prodrive one off's, Noble M12 etc...

Best bit of advice I can give is use the 'magic hours' - 1 hour after sunrise and 1 hour before sunset.

Before and after a good storm is pretty good too.

Mate, that's awesome.

Gotta love the old farm buildings. I've got a thing for the old steel truss hay shed's as well.
