400km, yea sounds bout right to me, ive got an 92 GX and 400 is bout right, depending on how i drive with tha tank of course. im assuming he means on a full tank of fuel.

nah def did it properly. all the origional earths were still there, i just added another...oh well, problem fixed anyway

hey guys thought id give you an update on how my wiring session went the other day...all's good now, no deck flashing now!!! so happy!! but when i had the extra earth from the battery to the body, the car wouldnt start.:???: is it possible to have too much earth?? coz as soon as i took it off the ba...

yea pretty sure it is, but ill check that b4 i do anything else...could have slipped out a bit i guess while i was putting it in the car

I asked this before but i can;t find the answer... Are u running amps and subs or anything off it also?? DEFINATELY try the Battery to Chassy connection... That one connecting can do some weird and wonderful things to your car. Dave sorry bout not replying 2 that one...thought i rote something down...

You need two power connections - one direct to the battery; one from the switched accessories terminal, and they have to be the correct way around. Do you have both connected? yep both are def wired up correctly. nah its a power problem. if you wanted to go to extremes - fix teh body to battery ear...

thanks heaps guys, will try all this out in the next couple of days...what was said does make sence coz on my previous car i ran the power for the deck straight from the battery and didnt have these probs

there a good car...been having some issues with the check enine light coming on every now and then, going 2 try and sort it out 2day. its actually not an RS...so wish it was tho. its just a GX with the RS body kit on it...looks the part tho and i rekon the STi rims make it look sweeet
