it isn't easy describing a classic almost new and so well cared for car. How do you do that without buyers doubting you?

Apparently the new owner didn't even drive it. He, like I, knew just by looking at it. Amazing little ute.

All I know is he is a damn decent man to ring me and thank him for the opportunity which is unheard of these days.

If I didn't have or want my ea81 trike I would have bought it myself without question.

The old lady cried when it left her yard...she told me today.

Hope people see it down Maffra way. It'll have new Vic plates on it and driven by an older gentleman. Congrats to him.

This car was sold. Apparently to a nice older gentleman from Gippsland region. Sold from advertising here only. He will get many years use out of this beauty.

Thanks Doug, My hunger for knowledge about my chosen cute little ea81 engine is overflowing with threads like this. It doesn't mean I'll do anything more to my engine though. In my case it seems clear that the module electronic disty system is ideal for my needs with a spare module in my boot. It is...

yeh, better idle too with longer tubes. The old vintage engines used to idle perfectly with the carb high up. Wouldn't be hard to weld on the stretched "S" tubes toward the middle. Having heads offset you could allow the "S" tubes to rise up to mount an IDF carb?? in the centre. ?? What about off th...

Oh, vacuum for brake booster, didn't think of that for you guys.

I suppose the short tubular manifolds that would be made would be say 50mm high and off those could be a 16mm tube on each unit. Then a tube connecting them. All vac's like auto kickdown and dizzy advance could be taken off that?

My VW 1916cc engine is one example. Twin Solex's then twin 40 webers. Never was economical either of them. That's how they were set up from the factory at Panther trikes. But reckon far better to have had single twin throat carb all along.

What's that item mate? Vw engines, twin carbs don't have a common tube. No other ones have them. think better not to have them IMO but I'm no mechanic just a magnificent fiddler of all things unusual lol. I'd love to be the ginnea pig but cant afford it now I'm retired. but never say never. economy ...

They would be vertical. steel round tube straight into this flange and a carbie above it. No manifold curves. All the desperate guys out there trying to find a original or limited released weber twin carb manifold...this seems the answer to me. I'm assuming the threaded hole is for a male barb for t...

Almost brad new condition brumby

This is sad. That I cant buy it as I cant afford to own a 3rd vehicle. Read carefully. Owned by a local lady in her 80's in Strathbogie area 22 kms from Euroa. Her husband has gone into aged care. Yes, they are on a farm, yet this little ute likely has never seen 4 wheel driving- true. If it did, sh...
