Have already done a compression test, 1 cyl was down at 130psi and the rest about 160psi

The way it is running i would have thought should be almost 0 on one of them.

Yes i disconnected the battery for about 15-20 min, It will start and run but is consistently rough all they way through the rev range.

I found an excellent post on another forum that explains the knock sensor with pictures. Although this knock sensor looked awful, when u tried a known good one it still has the same problem. Thanks for the help tho. I am thinking it is mechanical as it seems to have strong blow coming out of the oil...

From the way it is so close to the oil filter i would be concerned about engine running hotter, maybe it would be a good idea to fit a heat sheild inbetween that tight space ???

Air Suspension Diag Connector Location

Has anyone had any experance with the air suspension fault finding process, at this stage i just need to know where the diagnostics conector is. The manual says that it is "Located below instrument lower cover" but i am stuffed if i can find it :(

I have an old mini and a twin set up of them on it would be awesome. If your gonna have a carb then a flat slide (they are very well known for use on racing engines) like is would be the way to go.
