[ In combination with the Subaru hi-beams the Narva units don’t give any obviously brighter area whilst stationary. However, once driving has started and the ‘picture’ is moving, the improvement in illumination becomes quite noticeable. The main drawback is dazzling from any reflective roadside sig...

Put the kit in over the weekend. The lib looks pretty neat. I will put some pics up tomorrow after work :) The camber does not seem to have been effected at all really. Nachaluva, where did you get your springs from? Will Will be hard to tell if camber is affected until you do some significant KM's...

Also what options are available for fixing rear sag? Can you get springs for the lib that have an increased spring rate? Is an increased spring rate going to be bad for offroad driving? Also are the liberty and outback springs the same? Heavy duty springs such as king springs and KYB struts. Ride w...

Ive only ever known duelers to be horrid for tread life. I have some Toyo Teo Plus H/T's on my outback that came with the car. They are fantastic on the road!!! Grip like all hell in wet or dry, for H/T are very good offroad (been on sand dunes with them and didnt have an issue). When i first saw th...

Use paint stripper to remove the paint. It will remove the primer and absolutely everything down to the steel no problem. Then make sure you prime the rims very well (use anti rust primer too) then your paint then its a good idea to do a lot of clear coat.

3rd Gen outback driving light wiring

Hi My wiring for driving lights is all but done, however one issue i have is where to join the wire from the switch to only work with high beams. Ive tried splicing it with the wires on the light housing however that has a voltage on both low and high beam, so my switch will turn the driving lights ...

I got a bullbar on my 03 outback and put driving lights on. I ran new cabling of a better grade than what is in the foglight wiring, as the foglights only need 55W and so that is what the cabling is allowed for, while driving lights usually are 100W. However i used the fog light switch. If your inte...

Mounted some narva 160/115 spotlights to my new subaextreme bull bar that i received and mounted on 5 days ago.

Haven't had a chance to properly test but initial thoughts are quite impressed. Plus they look great on my bar.

Hmm maybe i should go 55W then. It stands to reason that they wouldn't get any hotter than 55W halogens. If more of the 55W of energy is turned into light with the HID than heat compared to halogens, it seems like 55W HID shouldn't get any hotter than 55W halogens which come as stock in the OB. Yeah...

You definitely need to use the same type of bulb, ie H1, H4, etc as is in your car. As this is for your high beam only bulb i'm guessing its an H1...can anyone confirm this? Yeah well the manual says the bulb is H1U (i.e H1 Upgraded). But i cant find any bulbs in existence online. Ive emailed a sub...

I reckon the lights will be fine handling 55w hid. I've been running 125w halogens in my gen3 liberty with identical headlights and had no issues. I'd say the grunty halogens get hotter than 55w hid. Ive read that the HID globes could be longer, and so closer to the projector lens. Could that be an...
