Hey mate what is the shell like rust wise? I am fixing up a white XT with a front corner smash would make it an easier job with a straight shell. Don't need any of the bolt on stuff just the bare shell. Let me know a price cheers Shane

wouldn't surprise me if its basically a l series shell on a toyota drivetrain It's exactly that.......:( I found the build up on it on usmb. They cut the floor out and it's full tube chassis with Toyota running gear etc. It gave me the idea to build my own but retain 80% of the Subaru running gear ...

Just putting the question out there has anyone seen pictures videos etc of any Vortex's in race or rally trim. I have done a little serching but coming up with nothing. Keen to see it if not will have to fit one out.

Any progress on this build? Keen to see it. I have started a similar project for my xt vortex. I have 2 ex group A rally RX turbo engines. So going to strip and see what is there. Got a spider manifold to fit and an old microtech computer so will see what can get out of the old gear. Cheers Shane

Yeah just for one season in 2000 we took out Queensland class 8 championship. Was a good little car but not my cup of tea. I love the SUBIS to much. Lol.
