Sorry to bring up an old thread, but how did you fit the flexiflares over the mudguards?

I'm about to attempt adding flelixflares to my L Series and fitting them with the mudguards looks like it could be a pain.

My muffler was making a hell of a racket, turned out to be stuffed. So took the opportunity to fit a cat-back 2" sports exhaust. Sounds wicked!
