Any signs of increased engine temperature due to the reduced airflow through the radiator mate?. I had mine set up in the same position but ended up removing them due to air flow concerns.

Thanks Paul, manual switch now in place & effective, I'm doing a couple of hundred K's tomorrow so will see if the sensor cuts in, if not well the back up works.

Skull, the joys of toys mate

Absolutely no replacement thermoswitch here in Woolgoolga, hopefully Coffs will have one in stock

Thanks Paul, tried to earth from (yellow) sensor switch- no difference. I'll rig a switch as recommended from the sensor and see if this makes any difference. Look like a new thermo switch required. Something for the weekend along with the webber conversion it seems.

Thermo Switch- EA81 Brumby

Guys, other than removing the thermo switch to check it's serviceability does anyone know of an alternative method.
The fan works when run direct from the battery, however I'm not confident that the thermo switch is kicking in

Thoughts?

TRumpets look good mate, I also had them on my classic Bonneville. only one negative they will suck in crap so the risk remains if you go that path.

LPG, expands 270 times when released, therefore a 40 litre tank expands to 10800 ltrs of LPg. Stick that in the boot or cab of your vehicle, add that the gas is heavier than air and has a flashpoint (butane) of -104 degrees C, and ignition temperature of 493-5490C You do the math!, in a word...........
