Guys, thoughts appreciated. I found that both front CV boots have been torn open, no idea why and given they are about 12 months old I'm somewhat perplexed as to what has caused this. Before I tear them down to replace the rubber boots, what should I be looking for with the CVs?

From experience- I do not talk batteries- every time I do- they die

I proudly told a mate that my battery was 10 years old and had never missed a beat- you guessed it !- it died

I think you are onto something Johhny T, my only suggestion would be to reduce the dimensions by about half. I'm for it

If possible check the new filter & see if it clear or contaminated with sludge, have seen a number of times where sediment sits on the bottom when stationary, however under load, inclines etc it has been known to be sucked up & temporarily blocks the line until it gets a chance to settle again.
