Are the fronts out of a FWD L Series sedan the same? If so I have a set in decent knick.

Cheers,
Tom.

5 Speed is a must but wouldn't worry about LSD unless you find one at the right price :) This was my plan anyway :) I should also add that it has air-con :D Haven't tested it out yet but when the cars running there seems to be no leaks and as you change the settings you can hear it kicking in and t...

I had a surging issue when I did an EA82 MPFI conversion to my carbie L series. I never got to the bottom of that issue but I think it had something to do with the small return line to the fuel tank. Since going EJ I've upgraded to an EFI tank and replaced the return line to the larger unit - I've ...

Cheers guys I'll keep it in mind. Nice looking brumby mate! I bet your sister is stoked too. Any plans or will this be kept stock as a daily runner? Cruise control is a worth while addition ;) Cheers Bennie Well for now once it's roadworthied it'll be a daily, but she (and myself of course) wants to...

As for your pics, you may want to resize (with paint or similar) them before posting them on your host site.
Cheers, but I've never resized them before and they've been fine :/

Just remembered, I had a fuel issue on my touring wagon with a turbo halfcut transplant 15 years ago. There's an issue with the circuit where the fuel pump earths back through the ECU. The solution is to earth the fuel pump directly to the body instead. Really cheap fix, I'd suggest doing that firs...

WTB Brumby Lift Kit

Hi all, I'm after a 2" lift kit to suit an '89 Brumby (so any Gen 2 Brumby really) I can't find anyone left in QLD making them since Crussbrudd purfurmunce has stopped making them :,( I'm negotiable, as long as the kit is complete and has the steering knuckle/extension make me an offer. Cheers, Tom.

Oh, also an update on the surging issue. I've replaced the spark plugs and leads with Iridium plugs and high quality leads, didn't help. flushed the fuel filter, didn't work. Bored holes in the fuel cap, didn't work. So now I'm going to check all my sensors and the fuel pump and if that doesn't work...

Sister's Car City! '89 Brumby

So this is the good news... My sister finally came to her senses and bought a Subaru again! An '88 built, '89 plated Maple Beige Brumby. In fantastic knick, almost perfect body work, very little rust, came with a canopy plus the chrome flashing for the tailgate  Pikchas. http://imageshack.com/...

I was fuming. But pretty happy that it didn't smash the windscreen, considering it's only about 1000km old. The old bonnet (after my roadside "repair" and being thrown across the yard in anger) http://imageshack.com/a/img40/6828/nm8h.jpg The bonnet and boot off Leonie, plus the new rod holder. http:...

If you can find the trim for the tailgate anywhere you're doing better than most of us mate.

Righto people, time for an update (pictures to come later). About a week ago I was cruising down my street at a about 80 when my bonnet catch let go and the hood slapped up against my hood, then my roof racks. After VERY carefully slowing and pulling over, I got out and slammed the door. < insert ab...

I have a white hood in pretty good condition, set of 5 stock steel wheels with pretty crap tyres on them and I may be able to source a gearbox, passenger quarter panel and drivers handle + assembly.

I'm in Brisbane is the only issue I'd say.

Cheers,
Tom.
