I reckon sell it on. I got quoted 2600 just for an engine and loom about 1 month ago for mine (white but identical to yours), although it's not broken, i was just curious about pricing since she's just hit 300k. I'm curious about where you got the tail lights and the front grill? Very interested in ...

Has anyone with the L series run either the 27x8.514 or the 185R14 range of offroad tyres and been pulled up for inspection by Dept of transport? If so was it something they noticed or did they let you go? Got pulled up in a 2" lifted RX with 27x8.5s by a cop. He defected me for tyres being outside...

Books are good if associated with pics mate. Glad to hear it's all going well. Is lift still in the equation at some point? Cheers Bennie Yeah mate a lift is definitely on the cards. Since I just got a hold of a Brumby for a project though I think it will take a back seat. But I'm looking at some s...

Tom, I am doing a short run of XT6 rear hubs in the coming months if you're interested - the rest of the C-r-oss**** kit you can cobble together easily enough (I did it, twice, so it can't be that hard). See my thread on USMB for progress (I'll be putting together a offer for AUSubaru members once ...

Figure I should update this since I'm back now. Ended up getting a new radiator, single core, plastic end tanks, straight stock replacement, cost $175 delivered, no issues at all so far, took less than an hour start to finish to replace. http://i.imgur.com/gsLnd5S.jpg?1 This is what she looks like n...

Righto so I own this Brumby that this will be happening to, plans have changed though. I haven't been able to find a decent donor in the past year and money's tight so I've decided to put the 5sp DR from my RX Turbo in, including the rear LSD, brakes, sway bar, and upgrading the suspension. Engine i...

Updates, new cars, scrapping cars, I'm back I guess

Okay so it's been a long time since I've been around here. Uni got hectic and I replaced the old beast (RX Turbo) with an MY04 H6 Outback (I'll get a thread going for her soon enough) so mods have been shelved for a while and I've just been enjoying driving a "new" car. Anyways, I'm parting the RX T...

It's a shame they're the 13" or I'd have them :( I have a 14" set of these on the RX and I want a 5th for a spare.

If anyone is tossing it up go for them, they're ridiculously light compared to the stock 13"s

Cheers,
Tom.

No the old RX got rougher and rougher and with uni starting again things have been a bit hectic :( I bought a 3L H6 '03 plated MY04 Outback to replace her. Haven't had the time to jazz her up yet let alone start a conversion project. At the moment getting the Outback serviced and the sound system in...

Pretty sure he's after the surround (which is what broke), the lever/linkages went with the gearbox when I gave it away, the boot is fine though, still have that.

Tom.

Got any photos to show us what's there ? Ciao, Bantum ... Yeah I'll grab some next time I'm down there. >brumby/leone chrome front and rear bumper? You realise the Brumby and Leone rear bars are completely different ? As far as I know the chrome Brumby bar was only found in the US on 1982 models an...

Bump.

I'm pretty much going to give most of this shit away at this point.

You all have until April 12 (the end of my uni break) and I'm throwing it away.

Cheers,
Tom.

Shed Clearout Time

Right so I recently acquired a big-ass toolbox for my shed at home (ie: http://reviews.costco.com/2070/100148149/torin-jacks-inc-kirkland-signature-42-mobile-16-drawer-tool-chest-reviews/reviews.htm ) and so now I want to make as much room as possible in the shed. So previously I had a thread with a...

One of my good mates recently built a prusa i3! I've been umming and arring about whether or not to get him to give me a hand building one.

Have you seen the ethyl (I think) vapour method to make your prints smooth as hell?

Cheers,
Tom
