I think I am going to struggle fitting 205/70R15 to a bog stock GD Impreza. Just wish there was an easy way to find out.

Cheers for the help.

Yeah geolanders were my other option, does anybody know if I can test fit them anywhere? Don't wanna spend 200 a corner and have them not fit.

Cheers

All Terrain Tyres

Hey Guys, So when I get my car back from the smash repair place, 5 grand later (thank god for insurance) I was thinking about putting on some all terrain tyres. Anybody had any experience with Maxxis AT-771 Bravo ? Can get them in a nice small size to fit my relatively unlifted car, 205/70R15 Do sho...

Yeah they do make raised springs for imprezas. I realise in hindsight that forester struts and trailing arms would have been the better route but its too late now.

Cheers for the help guys

Yeah I know but its sort of a rally course me and my mates do time attacks on so slowing down isn't really an option. If I get raised springs, wouldn't that meant that they are firmer and "stretch" the strut further which gives it the lift?

I already forked out 300 for the strut top. So I'm not to keen on swapping struts because they won't transfer. Im reallly just looking for a bit more ground clearance. And where I take it off road I tend to bash the struts a bit so having a higher spring rate would be handy. Like ilk hit bumps and t...

Thanks for the info on the extension cords, didn't know that. Bought the combo on the way home from work, had a play around with the tools and stuff when I got home. Luckily the pack included 20m of air hose so it should be plenty enough. Now I just have to buy some impact sockets to go with the imp...

Yeah I am gonna pick one up after work. I won't be using it for spray painting just for the tools. Always wanted one just a bit too expensive.

Just did a quick bit of googling, turns out you can't fit 15's on an outback apart from some rally wheels. Some people have ground down the top of the caliper to make some fit, although I wouldn't be game.

I've got a set of 4 subaru 15" alloys that I just took off my Impreza. Would be willing to swap with you for the 16's or $75 minor scratches and kurb rash.
