You're right about the brain teaser! Electrics have always been my downfall so i'm glad I got it right, I did a pretty neat job with the wiring too.
My mate thinks that negative switching might help prevent corrosion? Maybe someone on here can confirm this??

High beam trigger for spotties
Hi all, I just installed some new spotties (Narva Ultima blue 175's) on the front of my 07 forester and wired them up as per the diagram supplied with an on/off switch on the dash and a trigger from the relay to my high beam. They are working fine however despite being wired to the HB3 high beam wir...

215/70's on stock 07 Foz
Has anyone on here fitted 215/70/16's on a 07 Forester with std suspension and if so was there any rubbing? I've been offered a set of Kumho venture apt's at a really good price however i'm not sure if they'd fit without rubbing. Any advice would be appreciated.

Hpr 5
Did the service today and used HPR 5 fully synthetic.
I checked on the Penrite website and you can put in the make/model
and they recommend which oils are best suited, anyway i'll put some k's
on it and see how it go's.

Thanks for that but the manuals says "if you hear the pad indicators rubbing on the disc take it to your subaru dealer and have them replaced" not much of a how too unfortunately. I worked in the brake industry for 10 years however this was before ABS was standard on most vehicles, i am confident to...

Front pad replacement 07 foz x
I'm going to replace the front pads in my 07 forester, the rotors look fine and have no vibration or glazing.
The question i have is with the ABS/EBD, do i need to do anything in this dept or is it just a case of pushing the pistons back in and whacking in some new pads?
Cheers Richo
