It's all working fine, i just wanted to fit one so it didn't overflow on the road and waste coolant on initial fill-up and just to have that bit extra in reserve just in case something did happen.
Last service I ran penrite 20w60 as i was thinking thin oil too.

EA81 overflow radiator cap
Hi guys, have been reading the posts regarding fitting an overflow bottle to my EA81 brumby. I have a bottle and hoses set up but was just wondering what sort of radiator cap to use. I realise it needs to be a return style cap, just after a cap part number or a car model's cap that will fit it prope...

Brumby EA81 correct valve clearance?
Hi all, just got my first subaru, a 1991 brumby. Currently sorting a few things out, one of which is the valve clearances. I have searched but have found conflicting measurements so am wondering if anyone can give me the definite measurements in mm? Thanks in advance.
